It seems every four years we have a Democrat that runs on a Liberal platform during the primary. And each and every time, they decide, once they’ve cleared that hurdle, that they don’t need their base any more.

What Obama and the Dems don’t get is we don’t want wishy-washy, let’s go to the center, bullshit. They lose us every time when they do this. And I can tell you right now…The enthusiasm Obama had is starting to wane .
The reason? Like all the other losing candidates in our recent past, he’s forgotten what got him one and a half million donations. He forgot that we WANT a Liberal/Progressive agenda first and foremost. We expect it. And until we GET IT…we aren’t a lock (for votes) by any stretch of the imagination.

You abandon us? Guess what? We abandon you. This FISA thing, these Faith-based Bush initiatives…NO NO NO. We didn’t vote for more of the same. We didn’t “get involved” for more of the same. We opted in on the notion that CHANGE IS GOOD…IS NEEDED…and nothing less will satisfy us.

What the Dems don’t seem to understand is…THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE. We aren’t gonna vote for a slogan. Wake up. We WANT Liberalism to be a GOOD word. We want someone fighting for us. We’re the people who didn’t show up in 2000. We’re the people who voted for Nader. We aren’t afraid to send a message with our vote. We expect to be represented.

Anyone who thinks that the treatment Barack Obama has gotten from the media during this campaign is remotely the same as the treatment John McCain has received just has not been paying much attention. Because this pro-McCain prejudice has been both pervasive and unremarked-upon throughout almost the entire news media during the entire campaign season. McCain has even joked that the media is “his base” of support.

A booth at this weekend’s Texas Republican convention sold buttons asking, “If Obama Is President…Will We Still Call It The White House?”:

McClellan to testify before House in CIA leak case

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush’s former spokesman, Scott
McClellan, will testify before a House committee next week about
whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading
public statements about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame’s
identity.

McClellan will testify publicly and under oath before the House
Judiciary Committee on June 20 about the White House’s role in the leak
and its response, his attorneys, Michael and Jane Tigar, said on
Monday.

1. McCain doesn’t even know who is in charge in Iran.
2. Iraq/Iran, Sunni/Shia: McCain doesn’t know the difference.
3. McCain still thinks Czechoslovakia (which split into two countries in 1993) exists.
4. McCain wrongly claimed that Baghdad was mostly normal.
5. McCain called Baghdad market safe.
6. McCain can’t even remember how little he knows about the economy.
7. McCain falsely claimed he never requested pork.
8. McCain falsely claimed that tax cuts increased government revenues.
9. McCain’s claim to be untainted by special interest money is false.
10. McCain wrongly claimed he never supported amnesty.

This list showed up on Politico. Seems to me that it’s a big mistake to give away a list like this this early in the game. The Dems have a bad habit of showing their cards far too early. They could use some lessons on how to maintain a poker face.

There’s more, and in my opinion, better ammo against McCain out there. And we’ll get to it…when the time is right. This list is OK. But I’m not sure the average Joe Schmoe Middle America is gonna give two shits about most of it. The Dems better keep old Joe in the center of their target and strategy.

Today marked Hillary Clinton’s lowest point in a campaign of many low points.

Hillary Clinton today brought up the assassination of Sen. Robert
Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack
Obama.

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the
California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all
remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t

Whether it’s the Vote Different ad that kicked off the primary season’s viral warfare, or a completely loopy set of videos called Barack in 74 that imagine a man who may well be our next president as a resolutely nerdy stoner at Occidental College, this has been the best campaign ever for ads and videos.

Federal officials say a raid at a northeastern Iowa meat processing plant this week was the largest in U.S. history, in terms of the number of people arrested. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say 390 people have been arrested on immigration charges after Monday’s raid at Agriprocessors Inc. in Postville, the world’s largest kosher meatpacking plant.

I think this combination is a winner. Rumour has it Webb is at the top of the list. That’s the best guy for the ticket , in my opinion. Webb has all the missing pieces as part of his natural personality. He’s tough. He knows foreign policy.
