As a federal jury deliberates the fate of Vice President Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, several watchers agree that if the jury decides Libby knew he was lying to investigators, it could spur investigators to explore further whether Cheney was involved in conspiring to obstruct justice.

Leopold and Ash | Libby Testimony Points Directly to Bush, Cheney

Right Candidates, Wrong Question
February 7, 2007
“Even before Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton threw their exploratory committees into the ring, every reporter seemed to be asking which candidate Americans were more ready for, a white woman or a black man. With all due respect to the journalistic dilemma of reporting two ‘firsts’ at the same time – two viable presidential candidates who aren’t the usual white faces over collars and ties,” writes Gloria Steinem. “I think this is a dumb and destructive question.”

The president has been convicted of violating the law, yet nothing is being done. Meanwhile, many suspect Bush
is planning to invade Iran, another obvious violation of the consitution. How can we get Congress to impeach an
administration (they can all be impeached) so patently dismissive of the people’s will?
